Introduce people to Jesus and encourage them to become His true followers
What wotape do?
Our ‘Touch-a-Billion’ and ‘Impact-a-Nation’ strategies are both inspired by The Great Commission and focus on evangelism and discipleship.
Wotape is more than just a Christian-video-sharing tool. Wotape is is changing the tradition of evangelism by mobilizing Christians across the globe to be proactive in starting conversations about Jesus with their friends and family.
Wotape with a strategic purpose to attain billion people with the Gospel, we recognized early on that for wotape to create any real effect, the global Church needed to be on board our mission. Jesus left us with to reach the masses (online).
In a media-pushed society, where YouTube’s video tradition has been followed by Facebook, personalized by Snap chat, boosted via Instagram, and then strengthened by means of increasingly speedy internet, it became apparent that wotape would additionally need to utilize this powerful form of media. And since the very beginning, we’ve witnessed the personal testimonies of Christ’s love.
Through producing our own compelling and creative Gospel presentation’s too, we’ve also seen that people are inclined to sacrifice a few minutes in their time to look at a video if they think it’s going to solve their questions about life, God and faith.
But despite proving the effectiveness of quality Gospel videos/movies, there got here time for a pivot for wotape. When it became apparent that most people of our Christian users had been enjoying wotape in simple terms as a viewing platform for themselves, rather than a sharing one for their friends/families. Wotape internet site have become an evangelism-education/training hub, where Christians could see videos about evangelism, we knew that this fresh focus on sharing (as opposed to viewing) was going to be important if we were to stay true/committed to our goal of mobilizing Christians to share their faith with the people in their world.
Now, as we work to improve, test and grow our website, we have not forgotten that our vision of introducing a billion people to Jesus needs the cooperation of the global Church. We can’t reach a billion on our own. But we are able to provide Christians with a tool that will help them to reach their networks with the Gospel. We firmly believe that sharing our faith in Jesus should not be confined to those people with the “gift” of evangelism, or to those on mission trips in far off, exotic places.
So how does it work? Christians can visit wotape website and browse through a library of handpicked videos designed for them to share with non-believers. When they find a video they think their friend will like, they can share it via Facebook, What Sapp, text message, email, and other various messaging apps and social networks. Each video is connected to a Gospel message encouraging their friend to consider a relationship with Jesus. wotape with a hope, with a vision is that Christians might recognize the immense opportunity we are faced with and use wotape as the personal evangelism tool that it has now been designed as mobilizing Christians to share the Gospel with their pals, families and expanding Christ’s body one by one.
